Tryst Pro is a subscription through Apple. Pricing and cancellation follow the App Store's rules.
Welcome to Tryst
By using Tryst ("the App"), you agree to these terms. Tryst is a date planning tool designed to help couples and individuals plan thoughtful, intentional dates. It is not a dating, matchmaking, or social networking service.
Short version: we help you plan real dates with people you already know. That's it.
Who can use Tryst
You must be at least 18 years old to use Tryst. The app includes an age verification step during onboarding. Users under 21 will not see content related to alcohol or nightlife venues.
Acceptable use
Tryst is designed for planning dates and strengthening relationships. You agree not to use the app to:
- Create content that is harmful, threatening, or harassing
- Submit date ideas that promote illegal activities
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code
- Use the app for commercial purposes without our written consent
Venue information
Tryst uses Apple MapKit to search for nearby venues. Venue results, ratings, and information are provided by Apple's mapping services. Tryst does not guarantee the accuracy, availability, or safety of any venue. Always verify venue details independently before your date.
Date safety
Tryst is a planning tool, not a safety service. When meeting someone new:
- Meet in public places
- Tell a friend or family member where you'll be
- Trust your instincts — if something feels wrong, leave
- Contact local authorities if you feel unsafe
Subscriptions (Tryst Pro)
Tryst offers optional premium features via in-app purchase. Subscriptions are managed through Apple's App Store. Pricing, billing cycles, and cancellation are governed by Apple's subscription terms.
Intellectual property
The Tryst name, logo, date idea library, and app design are the intellectual property of the Tryst team. The 550+ seeded date ideas are original content — you may not copy, redistribute, or commercially use them outside the app.
Limitation of liability
Tryst is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the app, including but not limited to: dates that don't go as planned, venue closures, or relationship outcomes.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
