Vibe
The mood of the night. Tryst matches places and ideas to the vibe you're going for, instead of ranking them against each other. A five-star place can still be a two-star date; the question is never "is it good?" but "is it right for this night?"
Planning Mode
How much you want this night to be. It's the first thing Tryst asks, and it sets the ambition for everything that follows, from the place to the timing. Surprise Me hands the decision to Tryst entirely.
Budget
What you're spending. Every one of Tryst's 550+ date ideas carries a tier, so a broke week can still be a good week. On the Date Spots pages this is the "Money" axis.
Category
What kind of place or activity it is. Categories are how Tryst organizes its ideas underneath the vibe you pick, so the right options surface without endless scrolling.
Occasion
The reason, if there is one. Tryst even remembers first-date anniversaries. But "just because" is the one that changes relationships, and it's a first-class option, not an afterthought.
Moves
What you'll actually do at a place. A spot can carry more than one Move, so we tag places by what they're good for, not just what kind of business they are. Blue Oak is a great place to eat, and real Trysters know it's also a great spot to grab a drink.
Conversation
Whether you can actually talk there. It's the thing star ratings never tell you, and often the thing that decides whether a date works. A loud, great bar can be the wrong first move.
Why This Date
A short, plain-English explanation of why a suggestion fits you, built inside the app from what you've told it and the dates you've actually done. There's no secret score and no paid placement. If the reasons don't ring true, you pick something else, and Tryst learns from that too. This lives only in the app, because it's personal to you.
